The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in the Pakistani capital, Islamabad, organized a celebratory gathering on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (the first Saturday of Shawwal 1447), with a wide attendance from members of the Yemeni community, along with a number of members of the Arab communities residing in Pakistan.

The gathering was characterized by an atmosphere of familiarity and affection, as attendees exchanged greetings and congratulations on this blessed occasion, in a scene that reflected the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among the community members, and provided an opportunity to enhance social communication and strengthen fraternal relations among them.

In a related context, a special women's event was held at the residence of the Ambassador, which witnessed a large and distinguished turnout of women from the Yemeni and Arab communities. The atmosphere reflected authentic social values and strengthened the spirit of connection and camaraderie among the participants.

The organization of such events comes within the framework of the Embassy's commitment to caring for the affairs of the Yemeni community and strengthening social and national bonds, contributing to highlighting the civilized image of Yemeni society abroad.

At the conclusion of the events, the Ambassador, his wife, and the Embassy staff renewed their congratulations to the members of the Yemeni community and all the peoples of the Arab and Islamic nations on this great occasion, praying to God to return it to everyone with goodness, blessings, and prosperity.

President Al-Alimi Congratulates on Pakistan’s National Day

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, sent a congratulatory cable to President Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, in which he congratulated him on the anniversary of his country’s National Day.

The Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, on his own behalf and on behalf of the council members and the government, expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes to President Zardari, wishing him good health and happiness, and wishing the government and people of the brotherly Islamic Republic of Pakistan continued progress and prosperity, as well as further growth and development in the bilateral relations between the two countries.
