Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Meets Syrian President on Sidelines of Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Discusses Bilateral Relations

His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Shaea Mohsen Al-Zindani, met today with His Excellency President Ahmed Al-Shara, President of the Syrian Arab Republic, on the sidelines of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

At the outset of the meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed the greetings of His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, to the Syrian President. He affirmed the government's keenness to strengthen frameworks of coordination and consultation with the Syrian Arab Republic in a manner that serves mutual interests and contributes to supporting efforts to restore stability in the region.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, prospects for their development, as well as a number of issues of common concern, particularly the current developments in the region.
